Screening Overview

Every temporary and direct-hire candidate is screened on a number of levels. All candidates go through in-person or SmartView interviews and reference checks. We administer tests based on the position sought, including customized, client-specific testing aimed at targeting a specific set of legal skills.

Measuring Performance

Deltaforce measures candidate performance in three different areas:

  • Performance on a specific assignment
  • Overall performance history at a specific client
  • Overall performance history as a DeltaForce employee

Our team uses key performance indicators (KPIs) as part of our candidate tracking technology to record performance milestones. KPIs can be tailored to meet each client's specific requirements for measuring performance. This flexibility in our technology allows us to deliver customized reporting and performance metrics that are in the firm's native business language. Our Account Management Team also conducts quality control calls throughout the duration of a project to ensure performance goals are being met.

Clients who use our OnePoint technology for online time approval and candidate tracking have the ability to rate the performance of candidates per project.

Solving the Problem of Retention

Many document review projects can be plagued with high attrition rates as documents wane and the review nears a close. Contract attorneys may prematurely exit a review to take on a new project. This leaves the law firm in the difficult position of settling for replacements who are not familiar with the review and not equipped to pick up where the departing attorneys left off.

The Solution

DeltaForce solves the problem of retention by offering attorneys and paralegals project completion bonuses. Any reviewer who completes a project successfully receives a bonus consisting of a percentage of the total hours worked. Additionally, reviewers who successfully complete projects are given top consideration for future reviews. This method of rewarding our candidates has reduced our document review attrition and turnover percentages to negligible amounts.
